The IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT) Europe Conference is a premier event focused on the latest advancements in smart grid technologies, power systems, and energy transition. IEEE PES ISGT Europe 2025 will bring together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, present research, and discuss key challenges and innovations in the energy sector. Is participation mandatory? Participation in the conference is entirely voluntary. If you have any questions before agreeing to participate, you are encouraged to contact the organizers. By registering for the conference, you acknowledge your participation and agree to the terms outlined in this document. You may withdraw at any time without providing a reason, and no further data will be collected from you after withdrawal. How will the conference data be used? IEEE PES ISGT Europe will use data collected during conference activities for research publications, reports, and other publicly available documents. Personally identifiable information will only be used if you have provided explicit consent. However, by attending or participating in conference events, you acknowledge that recordings, photography, and live-streaming may take place, and you consent to the unrestricted use and transmission of such materials for conference-related dissemination. What happens after the conference? Conference data, including research findings and publications, may remain publicly available for academic and professional use. Who may access the data? If you agree to participate in this conference, collected data may be used by supporting organizations, academic institutions, regulatory authorities, and IEEE-affiliated volunteers for future research and industry-related activities. What if I have concerns or complaints? If you have any concerns or questions regarding data use or participation, please contact us at IEEE-ISGT-Europe@FiR.mt. We will acknowledge your inquiry within ten (10) working days and inform you of the steps taken to address your concerns. By participating in IEEE PES ISGT Europe, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this information.

All cancellation requests must be submitted via email IEEE-ISGT-Europe@FIR.mt with the subject line "IEEE ISGT Europe 2025 REGISTRATION CANCELLATION." Cancellations received on or before the cancellation deadline (1 September 2025) will be refunded, less a €50 administration fee. Cancellations received after the cancellation deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Substitutions are permitted, but must be communicated in advance. Substitutions for authors are only allowed with one of the co-authors listed in the submission. Please note that no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.

By registering for the IEEE ISGT Europe 2025 Conference, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms: IEEE ISGT Europe 2025, its organizing committee, and supporters shall not be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any issues or incidents that may occur during the event, including, but not limited to, issues related to the conference organization, transportation, accommodation, and any other services provided by third parties (such as airlines, hotels, taxis, etc.). This includes, but is not limited to, any events or situations that may occur during travel to or from the Conference. In the event of force majeure, including, but not limited to, climatic, environmental, political, or socio-economic disruptions, IEEE ISGT Europe 2025 shall not be held responsible for the partial or complete cancellation or disruption of the conference program. A force majeure event is defined as any unforeseen, exceptional circumstance beyond the control of the organizers, which prevents the fulfillment of the event. Additionally, the attendee acknowledges and agrees that it is solely their responsibility to obtain appropriate travel insurance, if desired, and that IEEE ISGT Europe 2025, its organizers, and affiliates are not liable for any travel-related issues, losses, or damages. The delegate is solely responsible for independently seeking any necessary insurance coverage and issuing claims to third parties for any losses or damages incurred during travel to and from the Conference.
